FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do your services cost? / What are your fees? / Can you send me a fee schedule?

Unfortunately, there isn't a simple answer to these questions nor do we maintain a fee schedule. Fees heavily depend on the complexity of the individual client's tax situation and take into account all of the client's facts and circumstances.

If you've been through our website and are interested in working with us, please click the "Contact" link above and submit your information. We'll discuss your tax situation on a short call and if we determine that we're a good fit, our firm is happy to provide an estimate of fees.

I need quick tax consulting and planning advice! Can you help??

It is possible we may be able to help, but first we would need to schedule a short call. We'll need to hear more about your situation and determine if we're a good fit.

In general, we strive for long-term relationships with our clients and do not provide "one-off" consulting services.

We also seek to provide value in a holistic manner. If you onboard with our firm we would prefer to prepare and file your tax returns as well as provide tax consulting services as there is a great deal of synergy and benefit, both to the client and the firm, in having one firm provide both service offerings. In general, we do not provide only consulting services without the related tax return preparation and filing. For example, we generally would not be a good fit for a prospective client who would like to engage us to provide consulting services but would also like to continue to self-prepare their tax returns or like to have a third-party firm prepare their tax returns.

Are you accepting new clients?

We're always open to onboarding a new client if we mutually agree that our firm can provide value to you and that the fit is good.

That said, during certain times of the year it might be difficult or not possible to onboard you as a client and meet a specific deadline. For example, January 1st through April 15th and July 1st through October 15th are very busy times of the year for us; if you reach out as a prospective client during these time periods and wish to meet a deadline within them, we might not have the capacity needed to onboard you as a new client and turn around your return(s) within the time period required.

Prospective clients who would like to meet the March 15th or April 15th deadlines are encouraged to contact our firm as soon as possible. Generally, November, December or early January work best. Those who reach out closer to these deadlines may be advised to file all applicable extensions, pay any estimated taxes due with the extensions and contact our firm after the deadline.

Prospective clients who would like to meet the extended deadlines of September 15th and October 15th are strongly encouraged to contact our firm as soon as possible, as these deadlines generally cannot be further extended. The closer we find ourselves to these extended deadlines, the higher the chance that our firm may not be able to turn around your return(s) within the time period required.

Do you prepare and file individual tax returns, business tax returns, trust tax returns, estate tax returns, etc?

Yes, to all of the above. Please see the "Services" page for more information.

Do you provide free initial consultations/complementary consultations/etc?

We're happy to schedule a short, free-of-charge call with a prospective client to ascertain if we're a good fit for a long-term relationship. During this call you're free to ask general, high-level questions, however, our firm will not provide fact-pattern specific advice nor actionable advice as the scope of the call is to ascertain if we're a good fit for a long-term relationship and if our firm is able to provide value to you as a long-term client.

If we determine we're a good fit and would like to work together, we will discuss an estimate of fees and next steps regarding onboarding with our firm.

Can you provide services to clients located outside of Georgia, or outside of the United States?

Yes, absolutely. We're well equipped to work remotely with clients.

I want to prepare my own returns, but I'm looking for a tax professional to review the returns after I'm done and provide me with answers to any questions that pop up while I'm preparing the returns. Do you offer services like this?

No, unfortunately we do not.
