Eamonn McElroy was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
He holds both a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Accountancy from The University of Mississippi's Patterson School of Accountancy. After university, Eamonn worked at a Top Ten CPA firm in Memphis for three and a half years before making his way to Atlanta, where he is now based.
While Eamonn has broad experience with income tax compliance and consulting, his focus is on small and medium sized businesses and complex individual tax in areas including, but not limited to, real estate, investment partnerships, family businesses, and international tax. He is also very familiar with the unique tax obligations encountered by companies with business activity in more than one state.
Eamonn is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the Georgia State Board of Accountancy. He is a member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of CPAs, as well as a frequent commentator and poster on BiggerPockets, a real estate investment network.
